Native to Dominican Republic, Dr. Michelle Sarasola grew up in Port Saint Lucie. She is the oldest of three girls and daughter to a dentist and hygienist. Dr. Michelle attended the University of Florida where she received her undergraduate degree in Microbiology and Cell Science. She went on to receive her degree of Doctor of Dental Medicine at UF College of Dentistry.
She worked for a year in Jacksonville then went back for more training and completed a residency in Advanced Education in General Dentistry. Upon completion, Dr. Michelle began working as an associate with her father in Lakewood Park. In 2011, she and her husband opened Sarasola Dental where she currently works part-time.
Dr. Michelle participates in several community service activities. While in dental school, she did multiple dental mission trips to Dominican Republic. She is currently on the curriculum committee for the IRSC dental assisting program, volunteers for Project Christmas Smile, at the Christian Community Care Center, Life Builders of the Treasure Coast, and in the nursery at Treasure Coast Community Church. She has served as an active member of the Board of Directors at Sun Grove Montessori School. She is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry, the American Dental Association, and the Florida Dental Association.
In her spare time, she loves to attend local community events with her high school sweet heart (husband) and their children, Enzo, Eli, and Eden. One of her passions is living a healthy lifestyle. Dr. Michelle Crossfits every morning at 5am, and she has run in numerous 5k, 10k, and half marathons.
